Camera View Modes

  • Widget Mode: Small camera preview overlaid on main screen

Tip: The camera interface adapts based on your current mode and settings, showing only relevant controls to keep the interface clean.

Primary Camera Controls

Close Camera Button

Closes camera view and returns to the main screen. Located in the top corner for easy access.

Pin Button

Pins/unpins the camera widget to prevent accidental movement. Essential for stable compositions.

Photo Capture Button

Takes a single high-resolution photo. Also cancels any active countdown timer if in progress.

Video Recording Button

Red circle to start recording, gray circle with stop square to end. Visual feedback shows recording status.

Light Painting Controls Button

Opens a comprehensive slide-up drawer with specialized light painting controls. This is your command center for creating stunning light art.

Frame Blending Control

Light Trail Length Slider

  • • Range: 1-100 frames or MAX setting
  • • Controls how long trails persist
  • • Higher values = longer trails

Additional Controls

  • • Clear Button: Resets accumulated trails
  • • Locked: Shutter speed (1s)
  • • Locked: Interval (1s) for optimal painting

ISO Control

ISO Brightness

  • • Range: 30-3200 ISO
  • • Lower = less sensitive
  • • Higher = more sensitive

Auto Button

Automatically detects optimal ISO based on ambient light conditions

Reset Button

Returns to ISO 100 default for consistent baseline

Saturation Control

  • • Slider range: 0-3.0 for color intensity
  • • 1.0 = natural colors
  • • Reset button returns to default
  • • Real-time preview of changes

Video Rate Control

  • • Slider: 0.1x-8.0x playback speed
  • • Blue = slow motion effects
  • • Orange = fast forward effects
  • • Reset returns to 1.0x normal

Camera Stats & Gesture Controls

Camera Stats Widget

Real-time information display showing all critical capture data:

  • Elapsed Time: Current recording duration
  • Video Length: Estimated final video length
  • Recording Status: Visual indicator with status text
  • Current Profile: Active profile icon and name
  • Brightness Indicator: Ambient light conditions
  • Camera Settings: Shutter, ISO, EV, WB values

Touch Gesture Controls

Tap Gestures

  • • Single Tap: Set focal point
  • • Double Tap: Toggle 1x/2x zoom
  • • Triple Tap: 4x zoom
  • • 4 Taps: 8x, 5 Taps: 12x, 6 Taps: 16x

Other Gestures

  • • Long Press: Toggle focal point visibility
  • • Pan/Drag: Move focal point
  • • Pinch: Smooth zoom in/out

Stop Timelapse View

After stopping a recording, you're presented with comprehensive post-recording options:

Session Options

  • Name Field: Edit session name for organization
  • Render Now: Toggle automatic video rendering
  • Save to Photos: Direct export to camera roll

Action Buttons

  • New Video: Add segment to same session
  • Save & Close: Complete session
  • Save & New: Start fresh session
  • Delete: Remove current recording

Pro Tip: Use "New Video" to create multi-segment timelapses without starting over. Each segment can have different settings while maintaining continuity.
