Soyuz 1

Soyuz 1 was a Soyuz spacecraft which launched on 23 April 1967 00:35 UTC. It was the first manned flight of the Soyuz program carrying cosmonaut Colonel Vladimir Komarov. The landing failed due to parachute failure. It was the first in-flight fatality in the history of spaceflight.
