MTG-I2, the next Meteosat Third Generation weather satellite, is set for launch on 27 August aboard an Ariane 6 rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. It will complete the MTG constellation, delivering more detailed and frequent weather observations over Europe and northern Africa.
