Blend & Glow Controls

The exposure makes the source image. Blend and glow controls shape how that image builds up over time. Begin with the camera settings, then use processing to bring out the movement you want to show.

Blend & Glow Controls, on Android
Give the light a clear shape.
Open Glow and compare a restrained setting with a stronger one. Look at bright edges and the background, not just the center of the light. More glow is useful only when it helps the shape remain readable.
Keep trail behavior in mind while adjusting the look. A long accumulated path can become crowded even when one frame looks clean. Check the whole composition and reset or finish the take when the picture has enough movement.
Before the full take
- Start with a balanced exposure.
- Tune the blend and glow separately.
- Review the whole frame as the light accumulates.
