TimeLapsed Android: External display

External Display has its own settings screen in the Android app. Review that screen before choosing how the connected display will be used. A larger view can be useful when the phone is mounted where its own screen is hard to read.

Set up the screen beside the camera.

The phone must support the connection you are trying to use. A USB-C port alone does not promise wired video output, and adapter support varies. Test the complete phone, cable and display setup before depending on it for a shoot.

This preview shows the Android settings interface. It does not claim the iOS production-display workflow or promise support for every monitor, capture card or projector. Confirm the final Android connection details as release testing is completed.

Before the full take

  1. Review External Display settings.
  2. Check the phone’s video-output support.
  3. Test the complete connection before the session.
